  1. When he first got here, before he had done any magazine work, he used to hang out at Super Shops on Van Nuys for cruize night. He had a Riviera then with a million colors overlaid on white pearl and I think it may have had hydraulics. I met him on the fist night after he had moved here from (Chicago?) and he became a regular and told us when he got some of his drawing excepted at Car Craft and stuff. I had no idea how far he was going to go! It couldn't happen to a nicer guy. This was late 70's early 80's. Man I'm getting old...
