still enjoying his high school car, a '69 Charger.. .. over 20 years later, with his wife and daughter, at the track

It came from the factory with a 318 and air conditioning, and now is running a 340. Power steering, manual brakes, but at least there are discs up front.

Over 20 years of keeping his Charger on the road, and now that Hotchkis has this autocross event a couple times a year at Fontana, he can really enjoy it as Mopar intended!

  1. Drivers fender is a 68 with the round turn signal, but the passenger side is a 69 with the rectangular one. I wonder why that wasn't fixed before they painted it?

    1. I can answer that, I asked the same thing. Like I said, this guy has had this car from the time he was in high school, and it was way back before reproduction parts and the internet so he got a good fender and painted the car cheap, and then he soon had a family, house payments, etc. I'm frankly surprised he's held onto the car through wife house and kids.
