2 very expensive 60's Ferrari are going to auction. Normally, who cares, right? The money from these, though, is going to pay for Coast Guard Rescue boats

The auction of a 1960 Ferrari 250 GT SWB and 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 will take place on 14 October 2015 at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford, Cambridge

Businessman Richard Colton, requested that money raised from the sale of his cars be used to build a new lifeboats for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), the charity that saves lives at sea. It provides, on call, a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service and a seasonal lifeguard service.

Since the RNLI was founded in 1824, it has saved more than 140,000 lives. More and more people are using beaches and the sea for leisure and RNLI crews and lifeguards are responding to an increased number of incidents.

Six out of every 10 lifeboat launches are only made possible because of gifts in wills, so they are vital to saving lives at sea.
