  3. Very nice. I assumed models were not used any more as so much SFX has gone digital.

    1. This model is (mostly) from over twelve years ago and was never used in the film. The X-Jet in the film was CG.

  4. That is true, I spoke with the effects builders and they confirm it was never screen used

    1. ok... well, I don't make shit up. That's what's written on the card next to it. I can easily believe it, and further, though the movie used CGI, someone had to make a model of the idea, so the designers, production crew, etc, would all be on the same page as to what it looked like, proportions, etc.
