Murphy's Law of worst time and place possible, seems to be the reason for the slow lane trucker leaving the lane he was in. (Skip the first 45 seconds) He was drifting left while steering to the right

  1. check out his front wheels. Looks like the drive wheels lost traction as he is turning the front wheels to the right, into the skid, while the truck is moving to the left.

    1. well, damn! You're right, he may have drifted left, but he didn't turn the wheel to the left to change lanes! Do you think the semi carrying the camera had an aerodynamic effect on him? Maybe the mass of air getting pushed was a factor in getting that semi loose?

  2. That was a pretty damn good save on the camera owners part. Would love to hear the audio that went with it, that's where you learn the more interesting swear words.

  3. no problem Jessie!
I think your idea of the passing truck having some kind aerodynamic effect is right on. The air cushion from the passing truck could have given him just enough of a "push" to cause the tires to loose traction.
