a car advertisement with a submarine, how did that make ANY sense?

  1. Hmmm... Just guessing: In 1919 a submarine was state of the art. They put the car next to a sub to make it looks like state of the art too? Like years later when the Olds Rocket 88 was advertised with rockets?
