I just don't understand what makes Australians like a 4 door, vs the 2 door version

  1. One is a Holden Commodore the other is a Ford Mustang?
We do have some 2 doors, but they have never been very popular.

    1. I realize they are not the same exact car, but are you telling me you don't see how similar the hood, and roof, and A and C pillar are? Other than being built a bit longer, so it can have 4 doors, and the stupid looking trunk, they seem to look like the same car - one stretched, one shrunk - to me. As good a comparison as I could find of an Australian car and an American one. If there is a better 4 door Aussie car that looks exactly like an American 2 door car that you know of, please share those photos with me

    3. There were some limited production coupes but the only 2 door sedan was the smaller Vega size Torana. There were no full size two door sedans ever produced in Australia.
