this year, the EAA show at Oshkosh did not get a special edition Mustang, breaking a 8 year string of innovative upgraded Stangs. This year they got a Raptor, and it's got some cool details

Ford has raised more than $3 million for the annual event since 2008 by creating collector’s edition vehicles, with the F-22 F-150 Raptor this years special edition.

The finer details are the grill, and the side mirrors have a similar jet plane outlined lights, green and red, for port and starboard. I dig that

The F-22 F-150 Raptor was purchased by Gary Ackerman of Gaudin Ford in Las Vegas, Nevada. The vehicle has found the perfect home in that Ackerman serves as Honorary Commander/Ambassador for the United States Airforce’s F-22 Squadron at Nellis Airforce Base in Nevada.

Nicole Rush, Ford designer, and the Ford design fabrication team headed up interior enhancements. With the loftiest of expectations for unrivaled care and precision, building the F-22 F-150 Raptor was entrusted to Brad and Doug DeBerti at internationally renowned DeBerti Design. Betancourt says Ford could not have asked for a more purposeful execution of its vision than what the DeBerti team accomplished.

  1. Jesse, Great post!

I was lucky enoughto see this truck in person at Airventure 2017 in Oshkosh. I was there for four days and my son and his friend spent hours in the Ford exhibit driving the simulators they had set up. The Raptor was amazing!
